Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I am very excited
for you. I had a BR/BLift (along with tummy tuck and
lipo of the flanks) 2 years ago and it completely
changed my life. If I had known how much better I
would feel after the reduction I would have done it
years ago!! I would do it all over again if I had to.

My biggest piece of advice .... Make sure you take
your antibiotics afterward!!! I didn't because they
made me sick, and I ended up with a cellulitis
infection at my lipo site. I learned my lesson.

Hi!

My name is Suzi. I'm 44 an live in Solon Oh....near Cleveland.

I have a BR and some lipo scheduled for Tuesday March 27th.

I'm very anxious and can't wait until the surgery. Any advice for
before, during and after surgery is much welcomed!

Has anyone who had plastic/cosmetic surgery banked their blood
beforehand?

Suzi

Hi Sandie,

I had a tummy tuck and a breast lift w/reduction done
when I turned 40. My breasts had been saggy since my
20's. I think it came from repeated dieting, gaining,
dieting, gaining.

I think just removing the skin is a "mini" tummy tuck.
I had a major one. I lost 10 pounds from my TT and
BL/BR.

Hi ........I've noticed a couple of entries re: breast lifts, and wondered -
is there anyone out there in her 50s who has had one done?
Does anyone know of a surgeon in Toronto who they can reccommend?
The reason for wanting this done is that I've lost more than 100 lbs, and my
breasts now seem like rather empty tube socks! It looks fine once you 'roll
'em up & stuff 'em in a bra', bur oh dear... when you release them at
night!!!!!
Also enquiring re excess skin removal from 'pannus' area (rather than the
'tummy tuck') - anyone had this done ????
Thanks!
Sandie

Actually I have managed quite a few complications from patients
unhappy with surgery done from Malasia and actually see many patients
from UK and around the world who prefer my techniques. You need to be
very careful who you select for your surgeon.

Hope this helps,

Oh, Im interested as well. I have a consult scheduled with a San Francisco dr.
but it would be nice to hear about other peoples experiences. I know I could
have used this kind of support before/ shortly after my breast augmentation! As
much as I read, I can tell you I was not at all repared for the recovery process
and how to make the healing process more comfortable. My dr asnwered all my
clinical questions, but nothing beats first hand experience from other women.

Good luck to you in your future nose surgery! Be sure to share your experience
with us! =)

Best,
Michelle

as healthy as possible. i have to lose weight first before i even try
to get surgery, so hopefully by the end of it all...i won't need it.
but i doubt it because i'm sure i'll still want a lift or something.

Most of my scars are faint white ... except for the
outer ends. The ropy areas are only about 1/2" long
... but they are itchy and drive me crazy.

I had toe surgery last year to fuse a bone, and even
that scar is ropy. That's the way I heal I guess. It
sucks!

I have not, but I just wanted to ask you a couple things which you proably have
considered, but if not, here ya go.

I know a very well endowed gal who had been considering a reduction for most of
her life. -She had also struggled with being overwheight for her whole life as
well. I dont know where the sudden motivation came from, but overnight she
cahnged her diet, from processed foods, to mostly raw whole foods, and started

suffered from any back pains, headaches, etc at ALL!

She ended up loving her new shape and I dont think you could pay her to get a
reduction!! -In this process of weight loss, she DID lose a litle tissue mass
from her bust anyhow, but she looks GREAT! -And most importantly, she FEELS
great. =)

Best,

I had a breast lift with reduction, not an
augmentation. I had the anchor incision (around
areola, vertical down to the crease, and then under
each breast. A couple areas are still visible and
"ropy" (but I scar weird) after 2 years but for the
most part they are faded and not that visible. Even
if the scars were darker, I am so much happier and
really any scarring is minimal compared to the comfort
of not having my boobs hang down to my waist.

Good luck !!!

areola, vertical down to the crease, and then under
each breast.

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and very curious to find out how people find plastic surgery, esp.
after significant weight loss.

I am seeing a plastic surgeon (I'm in Australia, Tasmania), soon. What sort of
questions should I ask her?

I definitely need a tummy tuck, as I have a hernia and extensive scarring from a
previous (unsuccessful) tummy tuck. I also want to have a breast lift (they are
heading for my belly button), and my arms taken care of to take off it's flaps.

Has anyone here had more than one procedure at once, and how is the pain
afterwards?

I don't know how much it will cost and how long it will take waiting to have it
done.

Any advice is very appreciated.

Best wishes.

Naomi from Tassie

anyone did their arms liposuction? the rest of my body is fine to me
and i dont need any lipo for my body except my arms. the most weird
part is that my arms are fatter than my body. when i buy a size small
shirt, it fit nicely on my body except the arm but so when i get a
medium size, the arms part is tighter and the body part is kind of
loose.

anyone ever got their arm lipo ? please share your pre and post
lipos. thanks!!

Have just performed major surgery on the Gynecomastia Male
Breast Reduction
<http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/index.html\
> section of my website. The Gynecomastia section
had grown just so large that it was getting hard to find what you were
looking for.

I have added a

     * Gynecomastia Picture Gallery of Puffy Nipples
<http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/gynecomastia_gallery/puffynipple_gyno_g\
allery.htm>
     * Gynecomastia Picture Gallery of Body Builders
<http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/gynecomastia_gallery/bodybuilder_gyno_g\
allery.htm>
and plan to keep revising the section. The enlarged photographs
animation works well
and still gives the viewer access to the main pages about each patient.

Hope this helps,

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and by reading the messages I
thought it was a good place to share my experience and to hear
others experiences. I had full body lipo and tt on 3/28/06 and I am
very happy, I think is totally worth it. I'm not saying that it was
easy on the contrary it is not easy at all but definitely worth it.
I feel better about myself and happier than ever. I'm still swollen
but I'm already 2 sizes less that means a lot to me.
The first whole week was the hardest, the post-op was for 2 weeks,
it was a little painful but that post-op is what makes most of the
job. Daily massages, draining, ultrasound, hyperbaric camera, etc.
I am posting my before pics and some of my after pics. I will be
posting more after pics of how I look today, after my husband takes
them for me.
Well I hope to hear from someone else or if anybody have any
questions for me I'll be happy to answer

Hello all, I'm a long-time lurker. I've yet to have cosmetic surgery
done yet, but I'm weighing my options very carefully in case I decide
to get my nose done. I developed a problem with my nose in early
childhood that can only be fixed via surgery. I live in Nashville, TN
& have been to some medical centers for consultations & prices on the
operation.
