Well Sue,
I owned my own Bakery for 15 years, which I flourished in. I loved
every minute, well every minute that I didn't hate. lol. I lived the
life, worked my butt off, did it all, the hours, the customers, the
baking, cake decorating, the management, the scheduling, ordering,
worring, smiling, christmas and summer parties. You name it. Then I
sold it put $100k in the bank for retirement. Stayed home for six
months making my self and everyone in my house crazy. So one one
fateful day, I walked into SuperFresh and there was a sign for a
cake decorator. Lucky me, so I am there..
My second career is nice, but a tad bit stressful on my husband.
Who owns his own Accounting firm. He has just found a new niche, a
bunch of accounting work in Hawaii. He is having fun (not) traveling
back and forth. He hates to be away from our kids (me too
HOpefully). His problem with me working is that he is working so
much, in his mind he thought I was going to be home with kids more
to manage the household. Ok let's get real. That was bad. So for
mental health I need to work. I like to work. lol..
At any rate this is lots of back ground on me. I am a crazy
person.
Yes thankfully I have a job I love, I love to use my hands, I love
customers, I love food. I love creating and multitasking. I do love
my kids, and I am thankful. You know one thing I have learned in
life, to love where you are. I loved the former life I had, now onto
my second career I love it too.. So be happy where you are or change
it. I mean if it seems impossible to change trust me it isn't..
