Hi Candy:
I had my breast reduction and tummy tuck done 2 months ago. I will gladly
answer any of your questions. One thing though, I am not a typical tummy tuck
"recoverer" as I have had some complications. Not the surgeon's or my fault.
Things just happen. I still am delighted with the result but have to take care
of wound breakdown along the incision line. There is a cavity at there & will
take an additional 8 weeks or so for it to fill in.

-Hi Candy, I don't know about the pain that comes with a tummy tuck
but I have taken care of a lot of people who have had hernia repair.
There is a non-narcotic medication called Toradol that is VERY good
for post hernia repair pain. See if you are a candidate for that by
checking with your doc prior to surgery. Good luck, Sue
