Regarding dog ears. I needed a second procedure to remove them about a year
after my abdominal recon. Again this was my experience, mine were very pointy.
No lipo was involved, that would have been extra. Wedge shapes were removed with
a scalpel. This was done in a clinic under local anesthetic. My surgery also
corrected all the hanging skin and damage from 2 c sections. My procedure was
covered by insurance, most are not.
Good luck

they do lipo on your sides so you dont get dog ears and they dont do that much
unless you actually pay for it. I have the little bit of lipo and i still have a
small dog ear on my side

It's my understanding that some PS's do some liposuction, whether you officially
"opt" for that or not. You may want to talk with your PS about lipo--I know I
am! I've had three c-sections and a gigantic flap of skin and some hard-to-lose
fat right there, so I'm definitely wanting some of that taken away, as well.
Best~
