Rest is very important. Be sure not to over do it. When I had mine
I would get up and walk around a couple of days after my surgery, but
did not do any laundry, or cleaning other than sweeping, and I did
not pick up the dirt for at least 3 weeks. You just had MAJOR
surgery. Your body will tire quickly. If you had muscle tightning
when you had your TT you risk ripping your stitches, thus ruining the
work of the PS. Your body needs all the energy to properly recover.
While I did not do any cleaning I did return to work in about 10
days. I was off my pain med by day 4. My doctor was and still is
amazed at how well and quickly I recovered. He attributes most of it
to me taking it easy and allowing my body to use the enery to recover.

tomorrow morning and try to make holes in my garmnent. I hope it will
not break it. So as i can understand, it's normal that i am bigger
than before the surgery. Good to know cause i wonder what clothes i
will wear. The ones i was wearing was getting a bit too big so i
think i will be ok with them. I got rid of all my other clothes. I
was about 300 lbs 3 years ago and lost weight. Now i am around 174
lbs. I can't wait to see how much i will lose again after i will have
less swelling.

Yesterday, i just took my first shower after my tummy tuck and i
was "dead" for the rest of the day. Today, i put 4 panties in the
washer after removing the towels in there and i was dead
again...lol... I hope i won't get lazy... being that lazy. LOL

so that it is not crushed? That's what my doctor did for me and,
although they were awfully uncomfortable, it did help with the
pinching. Yes, I was also much bigger AFTER my surgery but this too
shall end. I lived on pain meds for two full weeks and religiously
took them on time so that the pain never got away from me. It is
IMPERATIVE that you rest - all the time if possible. This will only
aid in YOUR recovery. In the end, it will all be worth it.
