You're not being lazy! You had major surgery and you're giving yourself the
gift of time. Enjoy it!
And yes, you will shrink before your very eyes if you're eating right. I think
I shrunk the most after a couple of months. It's not quick but one day you're
just smaller. Enjoy the sweats. When you get to where you're not swollen,
you'll want to shop till you drop!

Tami,
Mmmm i didn't think about it. I guess i will get my scisors tomorrow morning
and try to make holes in my garmnent. I hope it will not break it. So as i can
understand, it's normal that i am bigger than before the surgery. Good to know
cause i wonder what clothes i will wear. The ones i was wearing was getting a
bit too big so i think i will be ok with them. I got rid of all my other
clothes. I was about 300 lbs 3 years ago and lost weight. Now i am around 174
lbs. I can't wait to see how much i will lose again after i will have less
swelling.
I see i have to rest the most i can. Anyway, i can't do too much. Yesterday,
i just took my first shower after my tummy tuck and i was "dead" for the rest of
the day. Today, i put 4 panties in the washer after removing the towels in there
and i was dead again...lol... I hope i won't get lazy... being that lazy. LOL
Nathalie

Can you cut a hole in your abdominal support garmant for each drain so that it
is not crushed? That's what my doctor did for me and, although they were
awfully uncomfortable, it did help with the pinching. Yes, I was also much
bigger AFTER my surgery but this too shall end. I lived on pain meds for two
full weeks and religiously took them on time so that the pain never got away
from me. It is IMPERATIVE that you rest - all the time if possible. This will
only aid in YOUR recovery. In the end, it will all be worth it.
