wow, ouch........ I had no problem with my tummy tuck , but similar with my
Mons plasty a year later.
The compression belt helps a lot with swelling and pain. the infection= not
good. Did they do a culture to see if it is staff? Hopefully not MRSA.I got
a staff inf in my last incision, can happen but still, not good. I think
the hip area is tough to heal and over the bone....... I had issues with
the stiches not absorbing. You will def feel better when the drains come out
but remember they are helping to keep the swelling under control, once they
come out the fluid has no place to go
ANyway, just give it time , take the meds dont over do it and you will get
back to normal more everyday. The swelling is very normal, I still get it a
bit when I do heavy abs workout...
good luck
