I had local anesthysia for a procedure. All I knew was that I was
completely knocked out. Every so often I would open my eyes and I
could see the surgeon, but I was not able to comprehend or care about
anything.

I think they will give you a combination of local and some kind of
drug that makes you very sleepy. Thats what they gave me. I wasn't
sleepy though--I was totally non-functional.

I wont be going for local anesthysia for my next procedure. I just
want to be sure that I dont get scared, as this time they'll be
working on my face.
