I had lipo of my flanks 2 years ago when I had my
tummy tuck. Yes, the pain in your back is normal
(well at least I had it!!). It also felt like when I
leaned against the chair that there were hard rocks
there. It's just that the swelling settles there.
Try massaging them. Also, keep using ice packs. I
heard that bromelain (you can also drink pineapple
juice) will help with swelling but I do not know first
hand. Just what I read.
Also, make sure you are wearing your pressure garment.
You're only 5 days post-lipo. You will be swollen
for a while. I think I was swollen at least a month.
Around week 5 I started looking better (of course I
had the tummy tuck at the same time, so you'll
probably be faster than that).
