I am 8 days out from some revision lipo on my thighs!
If I remember correctly, I looked like I got hit by a car and then backed
over again by it, then run over again!
The funny thing was my ps told me I was hardly bruised for what I had done!
I didn't have lower back pain from what I remember, but it was a very, very
painful surgery.
The bruising is normal too.
Are you wearing a compress girdle?
It helps to keep the swelling down. I was finally allowed to take mine off
today.
All I know is I was on heavy medication from the pain of the lipo.
Take care,
jodi

Subject: [Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery] post-lipo, still swollen
hey guys! im a new member, thanks for having me.
I had lipo 5 days ago on the flanks and thighs and i look like ive been
hit by a car -- bruises extend from my ribs down to my ankles. the
worst part is the intense lower back pain i now have, i guess from some
of those traveling bruises near the flanks.
Anyone else experience this pain, and is it possible I've caused
permanent damage to that area? Im also nervous because they tell me to
monitor my calves for swelling and pain in order to prevent blood
clots -- but I dont know how to tell the difference between regular
pain from swelling and blood clot pain.
thanks in advance!
