Mini vs. Full Tummy Tuck   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #115 of 2818 |
What exactly is the difference, is it the muscle repair and the scar?

Can a mini be done with muscle repair, and if so, is it limited to
below the belly button, or can it extend up?

Also, How does one tell if the muscles really need repair... I work
out and have lost alot of weight, I have strong abdominals, but saggy
excess skin, there are even some wrinkles of skin above my belly
button... does that mean I will need a full tuck?

I consulted with a surgeon who did my lift/ba and was dissappointed
to find he thought I needed full muscle repair all the way to the
top... had me push in and push out my belly and said that the muscle
was separated all the way up... how can he tell without being in
there? When I tighten my abs they are darn near rock hard, all the
way to the top...

Is there a reason I should do the muscle repair?

THanks for your help.!

Debbie
