Dear Readers,

Thank you for your participation in Cornrows.co.uk! :-) Because of
you, it is one of the net's most popular sites on cornrows on the net.

This month, we have a few new pages, but first I'd like to let you
know about a new project that Google has started called Google Base.
It's a new program that is designed to bring webmasters who have real
information and content on their sites more publicity. You don't
even have to have a website to participate, but if you do, it'll help
you to get more traffic by showing what you can do, in a place where
people are certain to find it.

Get started here: http://base.google.com/base

What's new?

How to Do Cornrolls (Flat Twists)
http://cornrows.co.uk/howto/cornrolls.html
This is a good technique for beginners and those who just want a
change of looks.

How to Crochet Dreadlocks
http://cornrows.co.uk/howto/crochetlocs.html
I got tired of seeing so much misinformation about it, so I decided
to post detailed instructions for how to really crochet dreadlocks.
This will help with both loose hairs and creating locs that are
neat "out of the box". Not to be confused with the "wrap loc"
technique you may have learned in my courses, for adding extensions
to locs, or wool wrapping. Loc crochetting is permanent.

How to Do a Chinese Braid
http://cornrows.co.uk/patterns/dressdreds03.html
This is an easy and popular look for people with long hair, but not
so many folks know how to do it. It's not a French braid...

Aside of that, most of what's new is the updated look and feel of the
site. I'm still keeping it simple, so that it'll stay readable and
easy to navigate though.

Blessings,
~Nicole "Ibtisam" Lasher
