I lived in Detroit and have experience cornrowing with Arfican
American hair and the treatment for that type of hair. My husband
wants me to do his hair in cornrows and I have been trying to I am
running into some problems.
1. I can't seem to get the ends of the hair to stay braided into the
cornrows. His hair is about 4 inches long and when I hit the 4 inch
mark of the cornrow the first ends start poking out. I have tried corn
row magic and locking gel. I even tried braiding them wet. Nothing
seems to make them stay in.

2. I don't know how to pretreat his hair to stop breakage. He has a
lightly course and wavey hair. I am used to curly and really course
and straight and thin but nothing like his. What should I be doing for
his hair.

Thanks,
Stacy
