Hi

Well there are many ways to start locs off such as comb coils, indivdual
braids (refered to as braidlocs) or braids with extensions, palm rolling,or
2-strand twist. The difference comes in as far as when doing these styles and
techniques instead of unraveling them or redoing them the person would just
allow
them to stay in their head until it locs.

Now Sisterlocs is another way of locing the hair that requires you taking a
course to be certified, unless someone else who tool the course taught you.

Here are some sites that will give you information on locs:

_http://bigmalik.com/_ (http://bigmalik.com/)
_http://www.dreadlocks.com/_ (http://www.dreadlocks.com/)

Kinky Twists(if you mean with extensions) are done just like indvidual
extension braids accept you only braid the extension hair and natural hair about
an inch down or until the braid is secure then you begin twisting at the end.
Securing the end by twisting it around your finger or placing rubber bands at
the end, or just rollers at the end and dipping them in ot water and letting
them dry.

instructions.

Hey everybody

I am a braider right now, and i would like to further my skill and
learn how to do locks. There isnt really a particular reason i want to
learn how to do locks, but I just want to learn how to do them so i can
just offer them to whoever needs or wants them. SO is there anyone who
knows how to do them and wouldnt mind telling me how, or where to go to
find out, where I DO NOT HAVE TO PAY OR BUY ANYTHING (i.e. an online
course). If so, please let me know. Thank you

Jerell Williams

P.S. I would also like to learn how to do Kinky Twists.
