Welcome Brenda,
My name is Jennifer, I am single, 32 and was diagnosed with MM as a child.
I am very glad you got a proper diagnosis so quickly, that is wonderful news. Where are you from? Did your doctor put you on any medications for the MM?
You are blessed to have such a wonderful family and that you work in a hospital. That first attack couldn't have hit in a more proper place. They are scary for sure.
Welcome and tell us more about you.
Sincerely,
Jennifer and Hattie (my Hearing Dog from Dogs for the Deaf)

Hey! Just wanted to introduce myself. I am pretty new to the online group thing but ready to jump right in...
My name is Brenda and I was diagnosed with Menieres Disease about a month ago. I have to say that first attack was probably the scariest experience I have ever had. I was at work (luckily in a hospital) and everything started to spin. Then came the sweating from head to toe and finally the never ending vomiting. I didn't know what was going on with me. I thought things like "is this what a heart attack feels like?" "am I going to die?" I really just didn't have a clue as to why the spinning wouldn't stop. After being in the ER for over 5 hours, they sent me home with meds and an appointment with an ENT doctor. You know the rest after that.
I am 30 years old, married and have twin babies that will be turning 1 year next month. I have many questions and fears and am hoping that finding a community of people that have the same disease I have will help.
