I found this lady on the internet who is an Upper Cervical Chiropractor in Boulder, CO. Her name is Dr. Erin Elster. She did a study of 60 patients with various dizziness/vertigo disorders and has had an extremely high success rate!!! Her website is: http://www.erinelster.com/ConditionsDetail.aspx?ConditionID=9. My Menieres symptoms started after a typical chiropractic neck adjustment. Even now if I have my neck adjusted or massaged, my symptoms become exacerbated. I truly believe that mine was caused by or induced due to a neck/nerve injury. Anyhow, I've emailed this doctor on numerous occassions and she always replies to my emails. After reading her published study on vertigo/dizziness as well as
the numerous testimonials from various people, not only in the USA, but from people who have flown in from accross the world to see her, I'm willing to try anything at this point for any type of relief. I'm seriously considering making a trip to see her in the very near future!!! I think anyone who is dealing with this awful illness and would like some relief should keep an open mind and possibly consider this route. If anyone else out there tries her and/or this technique and it works, let me know!!!! =0)

Subject: [copinglist] chiropractor for MM? Salt in the pool?
Yesterday i saw a chiropractor for an unrelated problem, he told me that there is a chiropractor north of Seattle,(I live near Tacoma)who has helped people who have MM. Has anyone here heard about a chiropractor having success with MM?
I have another question. I do water aerobics at a pool near my home. It is a salt water pool, that is, they do not use chlorine but salt as the primary chemical. Salt is, after all sodium chloride. It is a very pleasant pool with no chlorine smell or burning of eyes. I am wondering if salt can be absorbed into the skin. I have been going to that pool for 10 years. I have only been having MM symptoms the last 6 months.I truly enjoy the exercise program.
My husband says that if you dont want to hear the answer, dont ask the question, but the idea that i am contributing to my MM attacks is in the back of my mind. What do you think? Roberta
