Re: [Compulsive Gambling Recovery] Hello

Hi Jim and wife,

Been there, done that. Feel like shit don't you right now. I think we
wonder "how can I go for that long not gambling and get suckered in to a losing
thing again." Those are always my words. I guess all I can say Jim is try for
31 days now. Get back on the wagon and keep trying. My habit used to be land
based casinos. Gave that up for 5 years. Started my own business from home
and got the Internet. Then I found on line gambling and need I say more. I
have to make a decision now of dropping the Internet so I can't gamble but then
would have to give up my business because I need the Internet. I'm going to
seek out the help of GA because I can't afford it and hate the shame it creates
in me. Have to go now Jim because just talking about gambling makes me want
to re-download USA Casino and start gambling. Just deleted for about the 10th
time in a month their programs. Just remember, we did not get this addiction
overnight, it is a progressive disease just like alcohol. We just have to
try one day at a time to not go gamble. Best of luck to your wife and you. I
feel your pain because I also carry the same pain.
Karen in Minnesota
