For Minnesota residents you have another option to GA or AA and YOU
SHOULD UTILIZE the State Funded Benefit!! After all it IS the State
of Minnesota that has approved so many land casinos in our wonderful
landscape.

Did you know that Minnesota has more active GA Groups and thus more
pathological gamblers than any other state in the union? Why? We have
more casinos per capita than any other state; yes, even more than Las
Vegas. Based on population, there are more opportunities
(convenience) to gamble than any other region.

Our legislators have approved (but not benefitted from) continual
growth of Native American Casinos and the most powerful addiction in
our state right now is compulsive gambling. You can't go into a bar
within 200 miles where boxes of pull tab games aren't offered. You
can pick any highway in any county of this state and there you will
bump into many land casinos.

You would be amazed at the millions of dollars our state spends on
the protection of children, senior citizens, handicapped, addicted
individuals. Most states either don't have the money or don't have a
concern for such things.

Minnesota will pay for 10 treatment sessions of any individual who
qualifies as a pathological gambler. If you're on this board, you're
probably a compulsive gambler with a disorder.

You can view a list of providers at the link above.

YOUR STATE might also have services available like Minnesota?

Do a search on yahoo or google and type in key words gambling
resources and then your state or city to see if something comes up.

I would also suggest you watch all of the factual programs on The
Travel Channel about gambling, vegas and the way the industry works
so that NOBODY WINS! Even the person who does seem to have a longer
streak of luck is eventually kicked out of the casino and asked not
to return.

The biggest problem with gamblers is that they have a fantasy. That
fantasy never comes true; no, not ever. Your fantasy of riches and
showering your family and friends with the luxuries in life, will
never never never happen.

Trust me, your family and friends would much rather you NOT GAMBLE
than to be showered with cars and homes. If they had a choice in your
addiction, they would really appreciate your abstinence from gambling
much more than any material gift. Guess what? You'll never earn
enough through gambling to buy anything for anyone, including
yourself!

Remember how corny you thought the phrase JUST SAY NO was? Well, it
applies to all of us gamblers. We just have to say NO and drive in a
different direction. NO PLAN that you devise, will EVER WORK.

I've been a gambler for 26 years and I could write books on Blackjack
strategy but just about the time I think a particular method works,
the casino PROVES ME WRONG!

YOUR WINNING STREAK LASTS ABOUT 10 MINUTES BUT YOUR DESTRUCTION LASTS
A LIFETIME!!!!!!!

TAKE CONTROL OF JUST ONE THING THIS YEAR. TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK AND GET
ADDICTED TO PEACE!
