Yes, Mayor Dave will once again be leading our bike tour! Don’t miss this tour of bountiful and beautiful gardens at their best!
Tour Start is 9 AM at Sheboygan Community Garden, 4802 Sheboygan Ave., next to the Hill Farms DOT Building. A light breakfast will be served by Sheboygan gardeners OR you can come early, at 8:15, and check out the Westside Community Market in the parking lot of Hill Farms. Maps of the biking route will be distributed at Sheboygan Garden. The tour will continue towards the new Midvale Community Garden, at Midvale Elementary School. This will be a brief stop at around 10:45. The final stop will be Marlborough Park Community Garden, in Marlborough Park, just up the hill from the intersection of Jenewein and Apache. We will arrive at Marlborough at 11:30, and a potluck lunch made by Marlborough Park gardeners will be served at 12:30.
Gardeners will lead tours of these diverse community gardens. Families and individuals are invited to bike the route at a moderate pace with Madison’s Mayor Dave. For more information call Janet Parker at CAC at 246-4730 ext 218.
