Rick-
It sounds good. There is some interest from members of the City Garden Committee
in encouraging school gardening, too.
We may likely be able to incorporate it as a track at the still being scheduled
(February XX) second Winter Garden Gathering/Training/Sharing if that meets the
needs of the people interested and they are agreeable.
Last year we had a good turnout, lots of enthusiasm, great workshops, good
sharing (and great food!). I can help with planning and such if needed.

Subject: [cfgn] Winter gardening, gardening in South Africa and here
I have just had a request from Liza Lightfoot of Avant Landscaping for advice on
how to keep a school gardening program going in South Africa, and suspect that
we all have similar challenges. Would you be interested in spending, say, a
half day getting together to re-energize, get ready for next spring and think
about how we can keep gardening momentum going here?
To keep you stimulated, here's a resource that might be useful right now.

Let's keep nurturing the seeds of learning and growth, so to speak...
Please call or email me if you'd like to pursue any of this.
