*National Garden Policy Conference at Drake University - Sept. 7 and 8th*
The Agricultural Law Center at Drake University and the National Gardening
Association have organized a two day conference "Gardens for All: People,
Plants and Policy" to be held in Des Moines on September 7th and 8th. This
historic conference will take a comprehensive look at the role of federal,
state and local policy in shaping gardening in the U.S. More than 25
speakers from across the nation will examine such topics as school gardens,
community gardens, the role of gardening in health and wellness, and food
