Hello! We are planning on applying for a sparks grant that would be $500. With this money we would like to get started on the planning and designing process for the Atwood Community Garden demonstration plot. Because CAC is such a big agency it is difficult to apply for such a small grant through the normal process. We were thinking CFGN could apply for the grant. Does everyone think that is a good idea? Anyone opposed?
If this could work out it might be easier to apply for grants in the future that could reach out to all of the many projects CFGN is working on.
For this we may need someone else to apply for the grant- If Beth or I do it it might be a confict of interest, and because we get federal funding and auditing here it makes it a whole complicated mess. Is anyone else interested in being the head person for this? We might also need to find a fiscal agent to work through.
Let us know if this sounds good or if you have any concerns.
Have a nice day~Ashleigh
