Wisconsin Partners for SustainAbility (WiscPSA) has created a new way to support environmentally healthy practices, local Wisconsin businesses and non-profit causes with its online Green Holiday Auction,  November 21-December 15, 2005.   

 

"Green" products and services worth thousands of dollars are available for bidding in this first annual event at www.wiscpsa.org.  All products and services have been contributed through the statewide Green Business Network  (www.wiscpsa.org/grnbus/)  and the Dane County Buy Local Initiative (www.danebuylocal.com ), both started by WiscPSA.  You can get overnight stays in the Northwoods, great deals on garden supplies, household items, concert tickets, and home energy audit, and much more.

 

The Green Business Network and Dane County Buy Local Initiative are strategies to demonstrate the economic value of making purchasing choices with the environment in mind.  They are among the projects of Wisconsin Partners for SustainAbility, which also hosts the WI SustainAbility Fair and other innovative educational services.  To learn more, see www.wiscpsa.org.
