Hi everyone, I hope you can all attend the next CFGN meeting on Monday May 5th at Olbrich Gardens. Free Pie! Last weekend Ashleigh participated in a two day workshop at Growing Power. If you haven't heard of it, I highly reccomend a visit. We learned about bee keeping, aquaponics, worm composting, seed saving, renewable energy, and much much more. Best of all it was such a warm, comfortable environment with home cooked, well prepared meals. Will Allen, a staff member (director?) at Growing Power and very knowledgeable man, has offered to speak at one of our meetings! They encourage visitors, I would be willing to set up a field trip for anyone interested. We are helping to promote a plant sale they will be having in Madison. They have some of the healthiest plants I have ever seen. You won't want to miss it!
