Non-Profit Administration Internship

Friends of Troy Gardens is a non-profit organization that stewards a 26 acre open space on Madison’s Northside that includes community gardens, an organic farm, prairie, herb gardens, an edible landscape, youth gardens and walking trails.  We also host an annual festival and educational programs throughout the year.  We are offering a 6-month internship in non-profit administration. Come be a part of a relaxed, fun and ever-changing workplace, and build your resume while learning how a non-profit organization works.  Tasks include, but are not limited to:

·        Membership development

·        Event planning

·        Publicity

·        Assistance with grant research and writing

·        Special projects to be determined by intern and supervisor

·        Office support

8 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months.  A small stipend is available.
