BLAST’s Youth Delegation to the CFSC Conference in Atlanta
October 5-9, 2005
Applications available NOW and due soon!
Once again, BLAST (Building Local Agricultural Systems Today) of The Food
Project will be organizing a youth delegation to the CFSC’s annual conference.
This program is designed to increase the presence of youth (ages 16-24) at the
conference in order gain the creative input of tomorrow’s leaders and to help
bridge generations. The Food Project is running a pre-conference day for the
youth to help them prepare to contribute and gain as much as possible from the
conference.
Youth can mean high school students (juniors or seniors), college students, and
other young adults under the age of 25.
We encourage you to apply. Applications are available from our website, at
http://www.thefoodproject.org/blast/internal1.asp?ID=352.
<http://www.thefoodproject.org/blast/internal1.asp?ID=352.> We offer some
scholarships to help cover the cost of attending the conference. Applications
are due by August 12, 2005. For information on the CFSC Conference, please
