may submit recipes in the following categories: Pasta-bilities, Vibrant Vegetables, Power Proteins, and
Delectable Desserts. There’s also a Kids category
for contestants age 14 and under. “The contest isn’t about fads or
diets such as low-fat or low-carbs, “ says contest committee member
Carole Blemker. “It’s about the healthfulness of real foods, whole
foods, foods that come from close by and aren’t overly packaged or
processed.”
