Come explore the bounty and beauty of Madison’s community gardens.

for a bike tour of three community gardens at the peak of the season!

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

Tour three of Madison's Community Gardens:

 

Atwood Community Garden on the East Side

 

St. Paul Community Garden on the East Side

 

Troy Community Garden on the North Side

 

 

The tour will begin at 9:00 at Atwood Garden at Ohio & St. Paul Streets near Café Zoma.  Maps of the biking route will be distributed then.  The tour will reach St. Paul Community Garden at 10:00 and riders can join us there.  St. Paul is just off Milwaukee Ave, on another section of St. Paul Street.  Our last stop will be Troy Community Garden, on Troy Drive near Mendota Mental Health and Northport Ave.  We’ll join Troy’s Savor the Summer Festival, with great food and music by local bands.  See details on the reverse of this flyer.

 

Gardeners will lead tours of these three big, bountiful and diverse community gardens.  Families and individuals are invited to bike the route at a moderate pace with Madison's Mayor.  We will begin the ride with a safety refresher from staff of the Bicycle Federation, and they will provide an informal safety escort during the ride.
