Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful summer of gardening and enjoying lots of fresh locally grown produce!

Last week the accessible gardening project made the front page of the Wisconsin State Journal, it was very exciting to see all our hard work noticed by so many.

We are moving right along with our goal to make community gardens more accessible to people with disabilities.

This Saturday we will be beginning construction of a raised bed plot at the Atwood gardens and can always use an extra hand. We will be meeting at 8:30am along the bike path by St.Paul and Ohio Avenue. Come if you can and by chance if you have a power drill that would be useful to bring along.

Either way, stop by sometime and check out the new bed!
