Please join us this Saturday August 14th at 9:00am at the St. Paul Community Garden to learn gardening techniques, tools, plant varieties and history from the Hmong Gardeners.
Many people admire the Hmong gardeners for their weedless plots, profusion of peppers and other interesting vegetable varieties, and their visually pleasing trellis system.
The Hmong have a long history of gardening and this Saturday is an opportunity to learn from their experience as they demonstrate to other interested gardeners their tools and vegetables as well as provide a tour of their plots.
Community Gardeners and the public are welcome to enjoy and learn from this demonstration. Translation will be provided by Yer Yang. The St. Paul garden is at the corner of St. Paul Ave and Milwaukee St. on Madison's near east side.
