Now you remind me of me...I did Desert Storm/Gulf War and pretty much with the
medications and everything else you said,,,,How weird...Its as if I wrote your
post. Talk about Deja Vu. My hat is off to you.

My name is Glen and I've been with this group for over a year. I've
been reading everyone's stories and problems. To all of the new
veterans and spouses seeking help, reading your stories is like looking
in the mirror for me. I have so many comparisons as well as what my
own wife has/is experiencing. I've been dealing with major co-morbid
PTSD as well as severe physical disabilities for over fourteen years
now. I am a desert storm era veteran also. I am dealing with too many
problems right now, that I am almost renderd useless. My hat it off to
all that are making some type of progress in this group. I've been
through years of therapy and so many prescription drugs that I cannot
even count. To some up myself in three words they would be, "I'm F...d
Up." I've been searching the web for information and I found a site
that may help some of you. The sight is
http://www.giftfrom within.org/ html/partners. html just cut and paste it
to your browser. I'm sorry that I haven't responded to many of you
because I have so much to tell you from my own experience within the VA
system as well as from my personal experience, please forgive me.
Glen
