Hi! Let me take a moment to introduce myself. :)
I am married to a wonderful man, and have 4
beautiful children! The first was a hospital birth, the
second was a Birthcenter birth, the next two were
homebirths - the last being our first waterbirth!

I
am involved in Independent Study for midwifery, and
am planning to enroll for Doula Training next
Spring. As I am currently in the "nesting" season of my
life, my main interest, outside of my family, is
building an academic foundation, and gathering some birth
experience. The area I live in is a small town and there is
not much of a birth network here to speak of - yet.
:) I am a firm believer in organizing for maximum
impact, and writing Govt. Officials, Media, etc. to get
our voices out there.

If any others are
balancing home needs, with birth commitments, I would
appreciate some feedback on what they do that works. I've
heard the divorce statistics, and the family concerns.
Who out there has done it, and made it work? I'd
appreciate any feedback you can offer that would give me
some ideas to draw on. Thanks!

I look forward
to "meeting" you all,
The Lord bless you,
Zoie
