I use colace stool softeners (one in the morning and one at night with at
leat 8oz of fluid) and I also drink a glass of metamucil a day...you really
have to drink a lot more water than you want to during the day....if I don't
drink enough, it stops me from having a bowel movement, but if I drink
enough and take the things I mentioned then I am ok. Fiber supplents and
stool softeners need quite a bit of fluid to work like they are supposed to
or they can bind you up!!!
