My reconnection failed in 2002. The bowel ruptured
from the colon and I was written off by my the
surgeon. I survived the septic and respiratory failure
after 7 weeks in ICU. I'm currently on a weight
reduction program for another try at a reconnect. I've
lost about 75 pounds with another 75 to go.
