Kevin, That was excellent advice that you gave to Jon about the fiber
supplement. I'll try some myself and will also have my wife, who is not a
colostomate but who does have occassional constipation even though she takes a
stool softener.......As an afterthought,
I am wondering why a colostomate would have the "c" problem in the first place
(assuming that there is no obstruction or kinking in your intestine)?.......[I
am a senior guy with sigmoid colostomy for 14 years, and I have always believed
that an internally normal colostomate could not become constipated, since the
"exit route" would always be open. Do you have any response about?.......Ken
