Hi,
My name is Irene and my husband had a colostomy over a month ago after
colon and rectal cancer. In a couple of weeks he will have his liver
cancer surgery.
Well, his colostomy is permanent. It was and still is a shock to him
and he hates to talk or to educate himself on the subject. So I decided
to be a kind of go in between.
His size right now is approximately 1.5" and he uses 2-piece New Image
from Hollister. I got him those flushable liners. He likes the idea but
has difficulty using those as for some reason his stool doesn't fall
into the liner but stays in the wafer area. That never happened with
the pouch alone. What could be the problem? The size of his wafer is
2.75" so liners are a bit small, but still can be used.
Thanks a lot.
Irene in VA
