I am Krishnan from chennai. 6 years back I met with an accident which ruptured my rectum and a colostomy had to be done for me. For the past 6 years I have been living with a left loop colostomy that was done to me.
On consultation with doctors I have been told that a correction surgery can be done to restore normalcy and remove the colostomy bag.
If anyone has undergone a colostomy recorrection surgery or knows someone who might have undergone one, can you please share your experience after the recorrection was done. I am a little bit tensed since I am not sure of what I have to go through.
