Hello Roy, Welcome to the group. In having your colostomy for 15 years, I'm
surprised that you only recently discovered this group. I've had my colostomy
for not quite 13 years (it included removal of rectum) and, although I don't do
any rock climbing, I retired from full time, semi-manual work 2 years ago and
still go swimming. .......It's a shame that the United Ostomy Association is
about to disband; their last quarterly magazine is due to be sent out this
