Attention: January Jones-----Hi, My background: I am a senior guy having had
a permanent colostomy (it cannot be reversed, so I'll always have it) for 12 1/2
yrs. now, and I had the colostomy surgery to remove the cancerous part of my
colon in order to survive. I'm sorry about your boyfriend's colon cancer. It
wasn't clear to me if your b/f had a colostomy operation or not. Since he did
not have a b/m for 5 days, he either had an unusual case of constipation (an
ostomate---like myself---will never get constipated again), or else his
intestine was kinked. (Did he tell you all what was done to him in the
hospital?) If he does indeed have cancer in his colon, and even though colon
cancer is a slow-growing cancer, he should definitely (MUST HAVE!) a colostomy
performed. (THERE'S NO ALTERNATIVE!)..........What is the deal with the kidney
stint? Why did he have that?............I would like to e-mail to you---or
better yet to your boyfriend---directly. I could give you a weal
th of info, if I learn more about his situation. If you want to write directly
to me, please do so at <
