Re: [colostomy] advice and info.

Hi Sherry

My name is Frank , My wife had a colostomy for six months, she was lucky she could have it reversed . I had no problem dealing with this. Now I have a urostomy so you just deal with it. The years before her colostomy she was in pain a lot, and after she loved life. No one likes to be stuck with a bag but like the other guy said , its not all bad. I wish you the best of luck.

Subject: [colostomy] advice and info.

Hello I'm new here.  I have ulserated colitis that we have not been
able to clear up.  My doctor at this point is talking about colon
removal.  I have been really sick this last week and in alot of pain
so I'm thinking this is going to happen. Honestly I'm quite scared
being 30 and having 4 kids to take care of Just wanted to know a
little bit more about it and about your experiances.  I also would
like to hear advice on how your spouce handles it.

Sherry Ann
