My dad had his APR two months after finishing radiation and chemo.
He's having a problem with slow healing of the radiated skin in the
perineal area and infection, and he's very, very weak. He's been sick
for so long with the cancer, and he expected to fell better after the
surgery, but now he has all these problems along with dealing with a
new colostomy. How long does it take to heal up after having all of
this? He's getting very depressed.
