Ellen,
I am very new to this myself and have been having problem with gas. Due to
the circumstances of the prolaspsed colon, I am not sure if he can try a bag
that releases the gas. I am still trying the gas releasing bag. There is
suppose to be one by Hollister that has a relpaceable carbon filter. I haven't
tried that one yet. Also, I don't know his diet, but carbs cause a lot of gas,
and
I have been trying to eat Beano before each time eat.
I hope that helps,
Robin
