A success story about RFA   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

I met a very sweet young lady last year about this time on another
site. Her Mom had multiple mets to the lung and liver. They live
in Canada but do the snow bird thing in Florida.
Due to the mulitple mets they could not find a doctor to do the RFA
on her. She emailed me asking about the RFA and Dr. Nielson here in
San Antonio. I spoke to him about her but did not mention the mets
to the liver. He asked for them to UPS her films to him and he took
a look. Her tumor was very close to the heart so he had to deflate
the lung and pull the tumor away from the heart to do the RFA. She
spent the night and checked out in the morning. They then drove
back to Florida. Before they headed back to Canada, they had a Dr.
Cohn do the RFA to the liver.
It has now been almost a year and they just came back to the USA.
They brought their CT scans and he ordered a PET scan and she is
totally free of cancer at the moment.
It just goes to show you, miracles can happen.
Joyce
