Re: [colon_cancer_support] Pain patch question

Thanks, Deb.  I couldn't remember who talked about these, I was thinking it was
either you or Donelle, but I wasn't sure.  I'll tell her about them, she can
work it out with her doc.

Denise

I know somebody in here has talked about a pain patch that was apparently very
effective. I have a friend who's in terrible pain from back and whatever other
problems she's having right now and can't get her pain under control. Whatever
the doctor has prescribed hasn't lasted long enough for her so her husband
decided to give her some of his Darvocet in between doses. Yesterday she became
so overmedicated she didn't know where she was, didn't know who was there,
doesn't remember anything that happened and ended up in the ER after a fall.

Anyway, if someone can remind me what it was, I'll suggest she ask the doctor if
it's something she can have.

Thanks, y'all

Denise
