New Cancer Drugs Open Up New Era in Treatment
The results showed that more than two times the number of patients taking Erbitux in combination with chemotherapy saw a 50 % reduction in tumor size, compared with the number of patients taking Erbitux alone. In addition, the average time it took for the disease to progress for patients taking the combination therapy was about 4 months compared with 1.5 months for those taking Erbitux alone.
