Like all other branches of Health science, Dentistry is developing at a very rapid pace; more so because of the involvement of and the dependence on advanced technology. The Dentistry in Pakistan has been no exception.

The Dentistry Yahoo Group is an attempt to inform and update the professionals about the recent progresses made in the Dental community in Pakistan. This contains the official mailing list of the professionals associated with Dentistry. It will provide a platform for discussions about Clinical Dentistry cases (including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Dental Radiology, Dental Public Health General/Family Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry). Members talk about things of mutual interest, share clinical experiences and learn from the experiences of others. The list also acts as a notice board for members to make announcements, give updates and news about events or simply indulge into passing comments on new innovations and advancements in the profession.

Membership to the list is moderated but not restricted. It is open to all. You don't have to be residing within the geographical bounds of Pakistan to join the list (nor to be Pakistani, for that matter!). An interest in Dentistry (academic and / or clinical) in Pakistan is all you need to qualify to be a member. Guest members are welcome from anywhere in the world.

The emails will be restricted to the discipline of Dentistry.
