Hi Louise
I'm Andrea, single mum like you :)
I didn't want to read and run as I really feel for you and what your daughter is
going through.
I'm afraid I can't really help or give advice. Sorry.
My daughter is also 5, she was diagnosed with CDH on her left side at 7 months
and had 6 months of treatment at Gt Ormond St, we are under annual review now.
What have your doctors told you? How long will she be in the bodycast? Maybe you
could write a list of questions for the doctors and nurses and also ask if they
have any patients similar to your daughter who are going through (or been
through similar) that they could perhaps put you in touch with?
Sorry I've not been able to help, just wanted you to know you're not alone. Just
an after thought, net.mums is a good source of help/advice/support for
everything from sport to single parent issues! etc etcÂ
Wishing you and daughters well, chin up
Andrea
