Abi is 2 years & 3 months, she has a dislocated hip, and is having
operation on 23/04/07 to correct hip position and straighten thigh
bone. She will be in a spica cast for 3 months. This is a child that
never sits still, climbs, 'bounces' all round the house, loves the
garden and park. How she will cope for the next 3 months we really are
not sure.

Can anyone help us cope with the first couple of weeks? we can
appreciate that children are very adaptable - she is the youngest of
6 !! and of course how the other children - & us will manage.

We have found this site helpful, and hope that some one can assist even
