Hi Vicki,
From start to finish it was about 6 hours I think (maybe a bit
more). They were using her op to teach the method to a group of
resident & visiting surgeons, so this may have slowed things down a
bit. I forgot to say that they also inserted an epidural, so Cassy
was deliberately 'paralysed' for a few days...that helped with the
immediate pain and risk of too much movement.
