Holly
Thank you so much for sharing your story, it has helped me...... Too often I've
heard from adults that had hip dysplasia and treatment as a child and complain
of aches and pains in adulthood. It's so nice to hear from someone with a
positive story as we all worry about what the future holds for our hip babies.
How is Faith?
Thanks again and take care
Sara

Subject: [Clicky Hips Club] My story of success
I have talked with you all about my daughter Faith but I have not
really told you all about me. I had a congenital hip when I was a
baby. It was found early and I had all the usual treatments. I come
out of my cast at 13 months. I learned to crawl and walk with it.
I have never had a problem with my hips. I did all the sports, even
cheerleading and water/snow skiing. My dad was always nervous. I also
have had five children naturally with no complications at all.
I just wanted to give you all some good news from someone who has
been there and lived through it all. Acutally I have no memeory of it
at all.
Make sure you take pictures because your kids will have questions
about what it was like one day. That is how it was for me anyways.
Hope that helps someone out there. :)
